Bukhara Markhor Hunts
About This Hunt
Our hunting area offers one of the best markhor hunts in Tajikistan because of the pristine wilderness our company has preserved. The best time to hunt is November and December, when it is the rut season and the colder weather, along with rain and snow, pushes them to lower elevations. The terrain consists of rugged cliffs and steep hills. We often use the spot-and-stalk method, but in many situations we also use horses to reach different areas.
We have a fully equipped hunting camp with toilets, bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area, and Starlink satellite services so you can stay in touch with your loved ones. Because the number of permits issued annually is limited, we encourage our clients to contact us a year in advance of their hunts. This hunt can be combined with a wild boar hunt because they share the habitat.
